Biography
Nerli Paredes Ruvalcaba is an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy. Her research aims to advance social justice driven goals and is informed by the needs of the communities she works with. Her current research focuses on reproductive and infant health, infant-feeding practices, and gender-based violence. Core to her academic practice is establishing crucial relationships that facilitate her research and service while supporting non-traditional, first-generation, and traditionally underserved communities within and outside the university.
