Biography
Zenaida’s research interests include Contemporary Indigenous Literature of the Americas, Decolonial and Postcolonial Studies, Gender Studies, 20th Century Latin American Literature, and Spanish Language Teaching. In fall 2024, she assumed the role of Coordinator of SPN 320: Cultural Readings and Composition and has taught the following special topics courses: SPN 412: ¡Justicia!: Women Fighting for Justice in the Spanish-Speaking World (SS 24), SPN 452: Medical Spanish (FS 24), and SPN 412: Boleros to Protest Song and Beyond: Music Genres from Spanish America (SS 25).
