Biography
Tianyi (Titi) Kou-Herrema is the Digital Humanities Research Coordinator at DH@MSU, where she supports humanities scholars in integrating digital tools and computational methods into their research and teaching. She earned her Ph.D. in German Studies from MSU in December 2024. Her research explores media coverage of the German men’s national football team from 2006 to 2018, employing text analysis techniques to uncover narrative patterns. In recognition of her teaching excellence, Titi received MSU’s university-wide Excellence-in-Teaching Citation in 2022. She currently serves on the advisory group for the Doctoral Futures Initiative.
