Biography
Chloe P. Crawford is a multi-disciplinary artist highlighting the labor disabled people undertake to set the conditions for their existence in public spaces. Her work is often exhibited in relation to her perpetually-seated sight line, challenging conceptions of lowness as a site to be overlooked. She has shown at the Museum für Moderne Kunst (Frankfurt, Germany), Artists Space (New York, NY), VAE (Raleigh, NC), and HUA (Berlin, Germany). She received fellowships from the Santa Fe Art Institute, Ragdale Foundation, and Vermont Studio Center. She has a BFA from the University of the Arts (RIP), an MFA from Rutgers University – Mason Gross School of the Arts, and attended the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program.
