Biography
Tim Conrad holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a PhD from Western Michigan University. His work has been published in journals such as Story, Willow Springs, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and Quarterly West, and has received awards from Beloit Fiction Journal and the Emrys Foundation. Conrad received a 2025 Midwest Book Award in the Fiction – Short Story/Anthology category for his debut short story collection, The Machine We Trust, published by Cornerstone Press.
