Biography
Soohyun Cho, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Integrative Studies in the Arts & Humanities, with affiliations in the Digital Humanities & Literary Cognition Lab and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research, Collaboration, Learning, and Engagement. Her teaching and research bring together contemporary fiction, fandom studies, health humanities, and digital humanities.
Cho’s current comparative project, The Autistic Detective, investigates neurodivergent detective figures in Anglophone and East Asian popular culture, bridging media studies, disability studies, and literary cognition. As an interdisciplinary scholar, she also designs accessible art events and created community-engaged pedagogy.
