Cheryl Caesar

Biography

Cheryl Caesar is active in developing the First-Year Writing curriculum within a framework of transcultural and asset-based pedagogies. She has created First-Year Writing courses themed around anti-racism and around wellness. She publishes poetry internationally, gives readings and writing workshops locally and works to support creative writers in the greater Lansing community. She also paints in acrylics and watercolor and does charcoal sketches, exhibiting locally and publishing internationally.
