Biography

Catalina Bartlett’s research concentrations include creative writing (fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry) crafted through the lens of social justice and decolonizing storytelling. Catalina Bartlett’s research concentrations include creative writing (fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry) crafted through the lenses of social justice and decolonizing storytelling. She focuses as well on Chicanx/Latinx and Indigenous literatures, land-based literatures, theories of the body, and intersectional feminisms.

She holds a Ph.D in English from Texas A&M University, an Master of Fine Arts from Indiana University, and a Master’s of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
