Adolfo Ausin

Biography

Adolfo Ausín is Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish Linguistics in the Department of Romance and Classical Studies. A native from Madrid, Spain, he received his BA degree in Spanish Philology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2001, he received his Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Connecticut in 2001. He currently teaches upper-level undergraduate and graduate Spanish classes on topics such as Grammar, Phonetics and Syntax. He also teaches “Roles of Language and Society” for the Center for Integrative Studies in the Arts and Humanities.
